Meeting 14 November - Tony Nolan: Hull Born and Bred

In Hull Born & Bred: My Top 50 Greats, Tony Nolan celebrates some of the famous individuals and wonderful characters who were born and raised in the 2017 City of Culture. Join Tony as he explores the life stories of 50 special people and discover - who marched at the head of Winston Churchill's funeral procession; who lost his trousers over 12,000 times in his career; who emigrated to the USA but sent for mushy peas and custard to remind him of home; who starred in an advertising campaign for sportswear giant Nike; who rose to fame by impersonating a chicken; who was sent off three times in a single match ... and much, much more.
